About the Role

At Digilatics, people are our greatest asset. We’re looking for an HR Business Partner who doesn’t just process paperwork — but builds a culture where high-performers thrive, accountability is the norm, and every hire raises the bar. This role is for someone who operates at the intersection of strategy and execution, not someone who waits to be told what to do.

Non-Negotiable

  • 5+ years of experience in senior HR roles, preferably in a digital agency or technology environment
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (M.Phil or Ph.D. preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and modern recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms)
  • Hands-on with Google Workspace environment, i.e., Google emails, Google Docs, Meets, Google Drive management, and more.
  • Deep working knowledge of Pakistani labor law, HR compliance, and documentation standards
  • Proven ability to manage conflict, lead difficult conversations, and drive resolution — not just escalate
  • Comfortable rejecting poor hiring decisions, pushing back on management, and holding teams accountable
  • Must be able to operate independently and make day-to-day HR decisions without constant direction
  • Experience working with US-based or cross-timezone leadership teams

Required Expertise & Skills

  • Strong understanding of HR functions, people management, and organizational behavior
  • Excellent interpersonal skills — you can build trust with everyone from interns to executives
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Google Workspace, and recruitment platforms (Recruiter Lite, Indeed, etc.)
  • Confident communicator — written and verbal — in English
  • Experience with emotional intelligence-led leadership and coaching approaches
  • Skilled at conflict de-escalation, mediation, and trust-building across hierarchies
  • Strong command of Pakistani labor law and HR compliance requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple HR workstreams without dropping quality
  • Ability to coordinate with technical team to assess and improve the HRIS system
  • Experience with international or US-based leadership is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with OKR-setting frameworks and performance management tools

  • Every hire must raise the collective bar — no compromise hires
  • Acts as the final quality gate on people’s decisions before they reach leadership
  • “We’ll figure it out later” is not an HR strategy
  • Culture is measured, not assumed — this role owns engagement metrics and attrition data

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer, onboarding, and integration
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to team leads and department heads — not just an admin function
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce HR policies aligned with labor law and Digilatics’ operational standards
  • Manage employee relations with a coaching-first, resolution-focused approach
  • Design and run performance management and appraisal cycles; create and track OKRs with the Team Lead’s support 
  • Lead employee engagement programs, retention initiatives, and well-being frameworks
  • Coordinate L&D initiatives that support individual career growth and team capability building
  • Handle disciplinary matters — warnings, show cause notices, grievances — with fairness and legal compliance
  • Maintain clean, confidential HR records, employee databases, and all personnel documentation
  • Ensure timely issuance of all employee documents: offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, tax certificates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve people-related operational issues before they escalate
  • Track and report on HR KPIs — headcount, attrition rate, time-to-hire, engagement score — to leadership monthly
  • Build and maintain an employer brand presence on LinkedIn and job boards aligned with Digilatics’ growth goals 
  • Makes day-to-day HR decisions within policy, compliance, and cultural standards

People Strategy Execution

  • Translate organizational goals into people-first HR strategies and action plans
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and org design decisions
  • Identify gaps in team structure, culture, or capability and propose solutions proactively
  • Run structured onboarding programs, ensuring every new hire is set up to succeed within their first 90 days
  • Lead quarterly people reviews with department heads — assess team health, flag risks, and propose interventions

What Proactivity Means at Digilatics

  • Flagging team morale issues, burnout signals, or retention risks before it’s too late
  • Improving processes, documentation, or onboarding flows without being asked
  • Pushing back on managers when performance standards slip
  • Identifying policy gaps and drafting solutions independently
  • Benchmarking Digilatics’ compensation and culture against the market and bringing recommendations to leadership
