Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Local SEO Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing local business profiles, improving rankings in local search results, and driving increased visibility for our clients in their targeted geographical areas. You will work collaboratively with the SEO Manager and other team members to execute effective strategies that align with client goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Google My Business (GMB) Optimization.
- Regularly update GMB listings with accurate information, photos, posts, and offers.
- Monitor and respond to client reviews to maintain a positive online reputation.
- Perform keyword research tailored to local audiences using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Identify long-tail and location-specific keywords to improve local rankings.
- Optimize website pages for local SEO, including meta tags, headings, and content.
- Implement schema markup for local businesses to enhance search visibility.
- Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across the website.
- Build and manage local citations across relevant directories and platforms.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify backlink opportunities.
- Develop strategies to acquire high-quality local backlinks.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues.
- Ensure mobile-friendliness and fast loading times for all web pages.
- Track and analyze website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for clients, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging, location-specific content such as blogs, landing pages, and FAQs.
- Suggest topics and strategies to improve content relevance for local audiences.
- Monitor and analyze competitor strategies to identify opportunities and trends.
- Provide insights to the team to refine ongoing SEO campaigns.
- Keep up-to-date with local SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Share insights and recommendations to enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in local SEO (minimum 1 year), preferably in the U.S. Market.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google My Business, SEMrush, Moz, BrightLocal, etc.
- Strong understanding of local search ranking factors and strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Non-Negotiables
- 1+ years of experience in Local SEO and Google Business Profile (GBP) Management
- Proficiency in English is mandatory
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Working Hours:
A full-time position requiring alignment with USA Eastern Time business hours.
